Restaurant Rave RoundUP: N.C. + FL.

Ok, as most of you well know, I LOVE food – that is, good quality, made with love, can’t get enough of the scene – food!

So, you better believe, that my most favorite thing to do while on vacation, is to scout out the best food around!

It wasn’t hard in Asheville, N.C., as that is like, THE foodie capital of our country, little did I know! Florida is right up there too though, with their progressive health conscious scene, so we had a field day discovering some amazing restaurants out there!

When I travel, I like to chat with as many locals as I can, usually while sitting in a cafe, about what they like to do, and where they like to go, rather than relying on yelp and trip advisor reviews. While helpful, it takes away from the full travel experience, I think!

Eating out is a true experience that is only appreciated when the person has a real connection to that source of food – where it comes from, how it’s prepared, and the story or theme behind it.

That’s why I think it’s important to celebrate restaurants that embody quality, because my passion for helping my clients in my Diet Design Program is all about teaching them to cultivate this relationship with what’s on their plate, because it’s a reflection of themselves!

My goal is to guide you to, what I think, are some of the best restaurants around, so you can experience what I’m talking about – a true feeling of the Divine Manifest!

Here are our Raves from our trip. If you’re ever in Asheville, or South Florida, you must check out these health conscious, locally sourced spots:

Farm Burger, Asheville, NC (also in CA and GA) Need I say more? Grass fed, locally sourced, with ethical eating practices galore at this establishment! The menu is so exciting with all their differing toppings they offer – some of which include: oxtail marmalade, pork belly, or roasted bone marrow! I got their Farm Burger (pictured above) with sweet potato fries, and it was heavenly!!

The Craperie Cafe, Asheville. Such sweet southern charm and gluten free too! I got the Bacon, Spinach, Tomato and Egg with garlic aioli crepe, and it was DELISH! Oh, and I got a homemade cookie to go! So worth it!

Sunny Point Cafe, in West Asheville won the 2nd best breakfast spot in the country on Good Morning America, and I can understand why! It is super eclectic and funky, filled with amazing food and drinks, and seriously fun people watching! I got the Huevos Rancheros because that was what they were known for, and it was all I imagined it would be, and more!

4th Generation Organic Market in Boca Raton, FL. So, so good! My boyfriend has been talking about this place forever, and it was even better than I imagined! Healthy, tasty food, made with love! I got a mushroom burger patty for lunch and a whole assortment of homemade desserts to go – one of which included a chocolate peanut butter cookie that I still drool over, just thinking about!

Christopher’s Kitchen, West Palm Beach, FL. Where do I even begin with this amazing, healthy, raw food?! Every single thing on the menu is a true treasure! I wish I could have eaten it all! But I did end up enjoying their Spicy Lettuce Cups and Homemade Cashew Ice Cream – TDF!
