While I'm not one for new year's resolutions, I have slowly been realizing it's time to make a few changes. We did the Colorado Cleanse back in November because we realized just how far away from our routine we had gotten - eating out all the time, take-out, sweets, late night dinners, etc. We were good and ready to do the cleanse, to say the least.
BUT, the cleanse was a tough one this time around! After about day 5, we were counting down the days until we could have some 'fun with food' again, and thus we swung from one extreme to another, and back again.
Needless to say, I am trying to carry through some of those cleanse practices into the new year to stay balanced and healthy, and one of them is trying to cook at home more!
Here are a couple recipes I made recently that were healthy, easy, nourishing, tasty and satisfying!
